Glass fiber parallel intraradicular post with conical tip.
Reforpost are Parallel post with tapered apex, serrated indicated to support of restorations and prosthetics. The parallel-sided shape of Reforpost favors its mechanical interlocking with the root canal walls. Its conical tip allows less tooth reparation at the apical third, saving dentin in this area. The additional circumferential mechanical retentions of the posts increase the area for adhesion of the cement. Reforpost is 80% filled with Glass fibers Type E, 20% of pigmented exposy resin, and also 1% of stainless steel filament. The stainless steel filament allows for radiographic viewing. Hence, Resin cements are the best for the cementation of glass fiber posts.
